About This Trail
There are four entrances to this trail system, the most prominent of which is at the back of Starling Community. Old neighborhoods were washed away during the flood of 93, and this trail system floods regularly. One old foundation can still be seen by the railroad track. Off road vehicles are not allowed. Next to Muddy Creek is a small field filled with wildflowers in the summer, next to train tracks, and then down to the river. In the late summer, there are many common wildflowers along this trail. There are many species of birds and deer in the area. The land is owned by FEMA and not maintained by the parks department.
