About This Trail

You can climb the Gabrielino Trail and return from the mountain in the scenic loop trip. The lower Winter creek and the Zion trails were mentioned in the preceding sentence. The road you begin down is paved. It is at the end of a paved road that you can find a restroom. A few small cabins edge along side you. It is possible to travel 4 way through the oak territory at just over one mile. It is a worthwhile trip to see 50-foot-high Sturtevant Falls. The lower trail is the more scenic and thrilling of the two. The trail goes through a waterfall and then through some small pools. There are restrooms on the path at the end of the 2.3 mile hike. The same phrase said that you'll arrive at Spruce Grove trail Camp. You can stop at this location and have a snack or you can continue to get some air at your own pace. The Lower Winter Trail is accessible on foot, by crossing the Mount Zion trail.
