The trail is not a public one and is not open to the public. The entrance is posted with no scares. It's necessary that you be a resident of Mt. The Vernon Canyon Club should be allowed to enter this private property. It is only possible for emergency fire access in Jefferson County. Suggested alternatives were the parks ofgenesee park and the creek trail.
