About This Trail
Mt Washington is visible from the Southern Presidentials. You will usually be able to get to the gem pool after the first 2 miles on the trail. It is steep near the end of the road. In bad weather it is hard to expose the last 3 tenth of a mile to the wind. This is not a good spot to hike in the winter. There is a fee for each person.
