Mount Hoffman Trail [CLOSED]

It's easy to get from the center of the park. One of the best overall views of the park can be seen from the Central part of the mountain. The hike is popular because of the short hiking distance. The trail to May Lake is a pleasant one. The trail goes from May Lake to the summit but then becomes a bit more steep. It is not difficult to find a route, but there is a lot of loose rock to deal with. It's not a bad idea to share the summit with a tower that was erected years ago, but the views are worth it.
