About This Trail
This trail is currently closed due to COVID-19. The Potato Chip Rock and Mount Woodson summit are some of the most popular trails for photo ops and scenic views. The Mount Woodson trail starts at the end of Lake Poway Road and leads up to the famous potato chip boulder. This is a great place for a good workout and training. This is a very exposed trail and you should bring plenty of water and sunscreen. It's free during the week for non-Poway residents.
