About This Trail
It is a perfect escape from the sprawl of Silicon Valley. The view on the way up is out of this world because the scientists at the summit spend their lifetimes studying tiny specks of light in the far reaches of space. The Lick Observatory at the summit is a logical goal, but the journey is more important. This is one adventure that is best experienced on wheels. It will be unforgettable whether you drive or ride.
