Monument Mountain from Pinkham Canyon Trailhead

The Santa Rosa, San Jacinto and San Gorgornio Mountains are seen from a different perspective. The first five miles of the hike are fairly flat and then up to the summit for the final 2 miles. It took four hours up and three hours down. There are two monuments at the summit and a red can with a log. The number of names in the log is limited because not many make this voyage. A wonderful hike, beautiful views and a great group of people.
