About This Trail

Imported description
It could be an adventure in finding your way around. You can gain a great sense of accomplishment if you cover the trails on the map. The trails are only visible from the hoofs and water. Some of the trails are from the 1800s. It is said the quarry and lime kiln were used for the construction of the Monocacy River Aqueduct for over 200 years. The Monocacy is a hunting area. It's a good idea to check the Maryland Dept of Natural Resources. The trails can be muddy and the bridges can be wet in high water. It's not suitable for bikes.
