Missions San Jose-San Juan

The Spanish missions, San Antonio River hike and bike trail, nature trail, dam and acequia park exit museum are all located at Mission San Jose. The parkway is a walk. The old dam diverts the San Antonio River into an irrigation ditch at Espada Park, where there are 2 foot bridges over the river. It is not recommended for night walking due to the remoteness of the trail. The site of the daily walk. The walk box is in the museum.
