About This Trail

It is easy to see Half Dome, and the abundance of wildflowers, from the pathway around Mirror Lake. There is a seasonal lake located on Tenaya Creek in Tenaya Canyon. It is the last remnant of a lake that used to fill the valley. This trail is less crowded than the other trails in the park. The parking area and drinking water are at the Ahwahnee Hotel, which is located at the far east end of the valley. The shuttle makes a stop at the site. There is a paved and unpaved trail along Tenaya Creek to the north and south of the lake.
