About This Trail
The hike begins at a branch of the Beaverkill River. There are stinging nettles along the way. The trail starts out slowly but ends up being washed out on the Col of Plateau and Sugarloaf Mt. The trail at the Col is steep and difficult due to some of the ledges. You begin to get into the forest once you reach the 3500ft mark. There is a view of the High peaks just before the Summit. The summit elevation is 3810ft.
