There is a trail in Leadville, Colorado that has a lot of history and scenery. The educational opportunities are plentiful and the riding is smooth. The trail is dotted with historical signs and remnants of a rich geological past. It's cooler up in the higher mountains of Lake County when it's hot. The peak of Colorado's highest mountain is seen. The trail has plenty of Elbert. It is perfect for people who love railroads, mining and history. There are numerous restaurants, antique stores, and museums in Leadville after a leisurely bike ride. The trail is great for hiking, biking and skating in the summer.
