About This Trail
Due to restoration work, the trail may be closed. The park page has more information. Friedrich Wilderness Park has hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty. It has a lot of orchids, birds, and steep hills. It is well known for bird watching in other countries. The Black-capped and Golden-cheeked Warblers are two bird species that are listed as threatened by the federal government. There are restrooms and water fountains at the entrance. Visitors are encouraged to carry water bottles for longer hikes.
