About This Trail
There is a possibility that the trail is closed due to restoration work. You should check the park page for more information. The Friedrich Wilderness Park has hiking trails that vary in difficulty. It is home to rare birds, orchids and steep hills. It is a well-known location for bird watching. Friedrich is a nest site for two species of birds that are on the federal list of critically-endangered birds. There are restrooms and water fountains at the entrance. Visitors are urged to bring water bottles to hike in warm weather. The following rules are needed to protect the wilderness area: -no fires, no smoking on trails, stay on designated trails, and roller blades, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, are not allowed.
