About This Trail

Imported description

This is a hard surface trail. The first three-quarters of a mile is close to a park road and is mostly in the open sun. There are water fountains and restrooms along the way. The trail goes through the woods and then drops to the Magruder Branch. The valley is shaded and narrow. The trail goes upstream along the creek on wooden bridges and boardwalks. The bridges can be slippery when wet. The trail crosses the road. There is a climb up to Valley Park Drive. You may see deer and birds along the trail.
