Long Loop via Peanut Leap Cascade, Giant Stairs and Closter Dock

The Lookout Inn is located in the State Line Cafe parking lot. north of the Cafe is the Long Path trail head. Follow this for about 1.1 miles until you hit the Shore trail. The Giant Stairs rock scramble takes just over a mile after you head South from the hike's 1.9 mile point. The quote is: "It's challenging." It's a smooth sailing route as you follow the Hudson to your left, and then take the Shore trail all the way down to Closter Dock. At the 6.4 mile point, you will rejoin the Closter dock trail which will lead you to the Long Path trail. Then it's just over three miles back to the Cafe.
