About This Trail
Lime Mesa Trail's main route goes back to Chicago Basin where one can get to Ruby and Emerald Lakes. It will allow one to sit high on the overlook rim and take in most of the Peaks and other ranges far away. In the area, there are many rutted lengths and a few areas of boggy terrain on the Lime Mesa trail. Even though there is 22mi of roadway, the last two of which are passenger cars, the highest quality of car is required for the last two and it must be a 4wd SUV.
