About This Trail

Lemon Creek Trail starts at the end of Commercial Blvd and ends at a stream gaging station. The trail is cut into the side hill by a gravel bench. It is not dry in some places. There is a longsleeved shirt that will help prevent irritation from stinging nettles. The next section of the hike is through mature trees. In the past, it may be muddy in the vicinity of Lemon Creek. The path may become muddy once past Canyon Creek. The side trail that leads to Camp #17 is very poorly marked. It was said that there are long stretches of log which are very slippery. It's hard to get through spills on the trail. Leather gloves and waterproof boots are recommended for the task of fighting the devil's club.
