About This Trail
Larry Scott is the name of the hiking trail that starts at the Portttentown waterfront and will go on to the intersection. There are places where the trail can go through private property that are not yet accessible. A trail starts at Portlani's Boat Haven and runs along a train route the whole way. The trail goes between a high bluff and Port Townsend Bay and in windy weather it is very open. The trail goes into the woods after visiting the port twegan paper mill. The trail has been graded for the first 4 miles and is a good choice for street bikes. The last two miles are not as smooth. It is possible to have a mixed trail outing when the trail crosses paved roads. There are restrooms at the Boat Haven trailhead and in the county park.
