Lake Poway and Lake Ramona to Mount Woodson Loop [PRIVATE PROPERTY]

Go down the dirt road to Lake Ramona after you pass the dam wall. Continue up the road until you see a dirt track heading right, then you can take a left onto Woodson Crest Road, which leads to a large iron gate. The start of a track is to the left of the gate. It is a path on the north slope of Mount Woodson. Continue up the hill until you intersect the Fry Koegel pathway. Go up the ridge and then climb to the summit. The standard route back to Poway Park goes down the south-west slope. It is strenuous and can be very hot on a hot day.
