Let scouts from Brevard Scout Troop 703 guide you on this fun bike tour that has something for everyone: peaceful, panoramic lake views, a waterfall, and two creek crossings. Hiking Directions: From parking lot: Right on Reasonover Creek Trail, continue on Reasonover all the way to Lake Julia, left on Lake Julia Rd., left on Camp Summit Rd., left on Conservation Rd., right on Airstrip, left on Airstrip trail, right on Shelter Rock Trail, left on Conservation Rd., right on Bridal Veil Falls Rd. to falls, back up Bridal Veil Falls Rd., right on Corn Mill Shoals Tr., left on Laurel Ridge Tr., right on Mine Mountain Tr., right on Fawn Lake Road back to parking. Waterfall Safety Warning Provided by the Dupont Forest website: WARNING: Although beautiful to see, waterfalls can be very dangerous. Every year people fall TO THEIR DEATH after a slip on wet rocks above and around waterfalls in the area. Never climb or slide on waterfalls, or swim, wade or play in the water above a waterfall. Children must be constantly supervised when visiting waterfalls. Do not allow pets to roam freely. It is easy to underestimate the slickness of rocks and the strong flow of water. Stay on the established trails and enjoy the view from the overlooks.
