About This Trail

Imported description
The Marl Bed Flats Tract was purchased in order to meet legislative requirements for smilment of the Eastern Beltway. These lands are important to the protection of water resources, flood protection, and ecological functions in the Lake Jesup area. The Marl Bed Flats Tract was acquired by the county with a boat ramp located on the southwest corner. Lake Jesup is composed of wetlands and hammocks.
