Little Big Econ State Forest Loop

Improvements have opened the Barr Street trailhead. A trail that leads from the North side to the South side. The trail is easy to navigate during the winter. If you catch it on a cold, clear winter day, you will be rewarded with incredible views of mirror tree reflections off the water, which is a perfect photo backdrop for your group. There is a chance of a gator along this section of the river. It is possible for animals to cross your path on the less traveled southern side. The northern side is good all the time. On the southern side, the gullies you walk through in the winter can become mudholes in the spring and fall, and knee deep after a storm.
