Lake Imaging, Thomas Cemetery and Grassy Creek Falls Trail

This tour is mix of the natural beauty and history of Dupont State Forest. To access the hiking and biking trail loop from Lake Imaging Access Area: Right on Lake Imaging Road, left on Jim Branch Trail past Issac Heath Trail, left on Buck Forest Road, right on Thomas Cemetery Road, left on Buck Forest Road, right on Lake Imaging Road, left on Grassy Creek Falls Trail, retrace back up Grassy Creek Falls Trail to get to Hilltop Trail, left on Hilltop Trail to get to Locust Trail, Left on Isaac Heath Trail, Right on Lake Imaging Road back to parking. Waterfall Safety Warning Provided by the Dupont Forest website: WARNING: Although beautiful to see, waterfalls can be very dangerous. Every year people fall TO THEIR DEATH after a slip on wet rocks above and around waterfalls in the area. Never climb or slide on waterfalls, or swim, wade or play in the water above a waterfall. Children must be constantly supervised when visiting waterfalls. Do not allow pets to roam freely. It is easy to underestimate the slickness of rocks and the strong flow of water. Stay on the established trails and enjoy the view from the overlooks.
