La Ventana OHV Trail

This is part of the full La Ventana Trail. The trailhead is located at State Highway 44 and Old 44 Road, which is just north of La Ventana and Cuba. The trail consists of mostly dirt roads and portions of small rocks. You need to climb a steel hill in the middle of the trail if you turn left at waypoint LV2. We made it another mile before we decided that we needed to turn back. We might have been able to go farther under better weather conditions. The La Ventana Trail is just over 10 miles to the point where you can return in about four hours.
