About This Trail
The Kitty Creek Trail is located a few miles east of Pahaska Teepee and follows Kitty Creek to the base of the mountain. There are some nice places to camp up the trail. The meadow swamp is where you get about 6-7 miles up the creek. The mosquitos can be bad at certain times of the year. It's a good idea to bring warm clothes when camping as the weather can get cold in the winter. Climb to the top of the mountain for a real treat. The mountain has some of the best views of Fortress Mountain and Eagle's nest.
