About This Trail
The Kitchen Rock Trail goes above Bark Camp Lake in the Jefferson National Forest. Kitchen Rock is a large sandstone outcropping that has an eroded, cavelike opening at its base. The loop provides a great overview of forest types typical of the southwest Virginia mountains.
