About This Trail
The idea for the Kino Environmental Restoration Project came up in the 1990s and was to modify an old storm water detainer basin into a nicer one. The trail is lined with wetlands, ponds and a community of riparian trees. The maintenance trails to the water are closed to the public but there are nice views from this trail.
