About This Trail

The weather station can be found at the end of the dead-end road. There is a limited amount of bushwhacking needed to reach the snowmobile trail. The trail is fairly flat, but muddy. In the winter it's a bit more snowy on the northern side of a snowmobile than it is in the south. The trail is marked with markers and it is difficult to follow them when the trees have been felled. Blue markers signify the kaaterskills trail to branch off the snowmobile trail. As you follow the south side, you can see the path that leads to the Hudson valley, and you can take a look at the peak point. The majority of the trail is flat, with some sections of steep inclines which you can negotiate.
