Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park Trail

The trail leads to an observation platform over the shut-ins. It becomes more difficult to continue up a stairway. The Shut-Ins Trail goes through oak-hickory forest and small glade clearings before returning to the main parking lot. The trail consists of short rocky climbs and a long series of stairs. You can also encounter some water crossing in the wet weather. This trail is only used for hiking. Pets are not allowed on Shut-Ins Trail.
