About This Trail

Imported description
The Johnny Reb Trail is a 4 mile trail that takes 2.5 hours to complete. The trail snakes through historic landmarks and monuments that are related to the Battle of Gettysburg. The trail has no access to water so bring plenty of drink. The local Boy Scouts of America Council set up the trail to give Confederate troops a historical experience. The booklets are $2 in the visitor's center. The booklet contains historic information, directions and spaces for information that can be filled in at each stop for scouts who wish to earn patches and medal. The booklet has directions and other information, but it does not have a map of the trails. The Billy Yank Trail, Eisenhower Farm, and the Visitors Center are all within this trail.
