About This Trail
The hike is in the Deam Wilderness Area. The trail condition varies from good to bad depending on the trail. It is possible to get wet at stream crossing during the year. There are nice hardwood and pine forests along the streams. The grade is moderate on the large hills. When the leaves are off, you can see Lake Monroe from the ridge tops. During the summer, stay away from poison ivy and greenbriars.
