About This Trail
The trail is named after Charles E. Ives. The Pulitzer prize was won by Ives for his symphony number 3. The distinction of being Connecticut's state composer is given to the author of the quote. The trail committee has made sure it protects sensitive areas. The management and maintenance plan for the trail is being prepared. The City of Danbury and the Towns of Bethel and Ridgefield are supporters of the greenway.
