About This Trail
Pine Mountain Reserve is a 368 acre open space. The space has many trails and is one of the highest points in the area. The trail will go from Terre Haute to Rogers Park and then to Tarrywile Park. It will go through Route 7 and through the state park to the existing trail systems. The trail is named after Charles E. Ives. The Pulitzer prize was won by Ives for his symphony number 3. The distinction of being Connecticut's state composer is given to Danbury's Ives.
