Interpretive Loop Trail

The remains of a collapsed cave system and the remaining cave in the Grand Gulf sink can be seen on four overlooks of the Interpretive loop trail. The trail's stairs allow visitors to see the water and the bottom of the gulf. A platform lets you see the view of the gulf. When hikers go down the steps stop to look at the different layers of limestone and dolomite. A number of stopping areas are available for resting and enjoying the view while coming back out.
