Indian Henrys Hunting Ground Trail to Mirror Lakes

The trail starts mild, but don't be fooled by its facade. The trail begins to incline after you cross the wooden footpath. There are spots in the trail that are very steep. Don't count the hike out all together because there are some reprieves. The path will level out after you reach the Rampart Ridge crossroads. The trail climbs again after you cross a river bed. The mosquitoes are very dense after you hit Devil's Dream camp. If you have bug spray, wear bug-repelling clothing. You will need it. The payoff is the meadow. The forest gives way to endless fields of flowers before you reach the cabin. The ponds are beneath the cliff-sides and reflect the beauty before you. The smell of the warm earth and flowers is very stimulating.
