About This Trail
The trail is nicely wooded and has some shade, it is completely different from Death Valley NP. The north end of Hidden Valley is an amazing climb with great views of progress behind you. The only real spot where you can pick a line is on the north end of the switchbacks. There are many spur roads and dispersed campsites in the middle portion. The road is dirt and smooth. This is a fun road.
