About This Trail
The Colorado River is located on the Hualapai Indian Reservation. This is the only place that you can actually go to the bottom of the canyon. There is a drop in elevation along the dirt road from Peach Springs. The road is not bad until you reach the creek. Don't try to cross this creek during monsoon season. You may be stuck for a day or more. Fees can be paid at the Hualapai Lodge.
