About This Trail

This is a great trail in February with flowers and water in the canyon where the petroglyphs are found. Hiking boots are a better choice than other athletic wear, if you want to look up at the landscape but also stay on the trail. You should be prepared to climb a small amount at the end of the canyon. The combination of a rocky trail and gradual uphill climb makes this hike moderate. It is a good idea to not park on the side of the road. The parking lot is a good place to park.
