About This Trail
It's a difficult hike through oak and timber, which leads toward the Housatonic overlook and the southern section of the AT. This is the story ofAmys Overlook and the wonderful views it offers. The trail enters and exits some small streams and skirts a large pool. There are some forest birds in the interior of the forest who nest on the steep slopes of the trail. To get the Ned Anderson Bridge, take the AT north and then cross to the other side.
