About This Trail

Imported description
The trail goes from the parking lot down to the beach. You can walk for 7 miles to the east after you get on the beach. There is a trail up the west side of the bluff to the east. It is a quiet beach during the summer. It is not crowded. It is a good idea to avoid walking more than a half mile in either direction and passing around parts of the bluff that get wet when the tide comes in. If the surf is heavy, make sure you get back before the tide comes in. There are small tide pools at low tide. There is tar on the beach from the natural seeps. Dogs are not allowed on a leash. Many of the beach walkers let the dogs off leash.
