About This Trail
The trail goes through a gorge in the Jefferson National Forest. The trail can be used for walking, jogging, hiking, and biking. The trail leads to a number of small waterfalls and provides a wonderful view of the river and the gorge. The gorge is filled with an incredible array of wildlife and the river provides an excellent overview of the history of water in southwest Virginia.
