Great Swamp Conservancy Trail

The Great Swamp Conservancy has natures best places to be if you walk the bluebird trails. An outdoor enthusiast can enjoy a stroll on the 900 foot boardwalk. The East side Trail is 115 acres and contains four miles of flat trails that go through wetlands and a forested area. This trail has interpretative signs,picnic tables and benches. The trail is seasonable wet so boots are recommended. This is an early successional habitat management demonstration area. The trail is approximately 1.5 miles and it is wet in the winter. The swamp has a 900 foot boardwalk. The benches are a nice place to relax and observe the bird life. Listen to the salamanders and look at the platform. This is a great bird watching area.
