About This Trail
The Watkins Glen State Park is not open in the winter. The Finger Lakes region has many parks, most of them in New York. The glen features a stream with many waterfalls that you can see from the hiking trails. A trail that goes past Glen Creek and the waterfalls, provides a great view of the Gorge and State Park, as well as a trail through Cavern Cascade, the best state park. The South Rim Trail gives a good view of the gorge. In the middle of the gorge, a swimming pool with an olympic-sized swimming pool, guided hikes, lunch, and camping in tents and trailers, can be found.
