About This Trail
Take the Desert Park trail from the Gateway Trailhead. This leads you to the top of Toms Thumb Trail. On a clear day you can see the Four Peaks, The Superstitions, Salt River and Downtown Phoenix from The Lookout, which is located on the ridgeline. The trail is rocky until you reach the upper ridgeline. It is a good idea to bring lots of water and wear good hiking shoes.
