The Pine Barrens trail goes through the cranberry and berry fields. You can follow the red trail from the entrance. You need to follow the green trail if you want to get to the closed section. There are a lot of wild and semi wild fruits. There is a short tower which allows one to look at the cranberries.

Franklin Parker Preserve is an 11,379 acre natural preserve located in the Pine Barrens in Chatsworth, New Jersey. The preserve links Brendan Byrne, Wharton, and Penn State Forests. Franklin Parker Preserve is owned and managed by New Jersey Conservation Foundation.
