About This Trail
There are four small lakes in the forested basin. It is the best place to go on a trip if you want drop-dead solitude and scenery that is better than the wilderness. It's required for overnight visitors to have a wilderness permit. There are free permits required for camp fires. Most access roads in the Trinity Alps are closed in the winter.
