About This Trail
This loop is very short and is an excellent way to get to the classic pine barrens. The pine stands along the trail have recently been burned. Char marks on the tree are a sign of the fires. The Nature Conservancy manages this preserve, which is an excellent place for hiking, fishing, observing wildlife, and snowmobiling. All dogs are required to be on a leash on the preserve.
