About This Trail
The main stem of the hiking trail is from Table Rock State Park in Pickens County to the state park in Oconee County. The trail crosses some of the most rugged and beautiful terrain in the Southeast and provides access to the highest peak in South Carolina. The section of trail from the East Fork of the Chattooga River to the Ford Road is a wooded area. The trail goes through a waterfall before going to the river Gorge area at the Burrell's Ford Road campground.
